Design Services Preconstruction Services The Initial Estimate is also a task that Cobb Hill will manage, working with the owner and architect to distinguish a clear scope and prepare an estimate. Cobb Hill will then work the estimate into a clear and defined budget, to which manpower and material selection can be designated and then worked into a project schedule. Cobb Hill utilizes Feasibility Studies and Value Engineering to ensure that the design, materials, manpower, schedule, and budget are all in sync. The project schedule will be closely monitored by Cobb Hill throughout the entire design, planning, and construction phases to ensure that the project progresses smoothly. Construction Services Cobb Hill continually performs inspections on the work that is produced to ensure quality and that it is in compliance with all state and local building codes and regulations. Along with the safety program and administrative procedures, the owner will be provided monthly reports detailing the summary of work performed, as well as any schedule and budget updates. Weatherization Services Cobb Hill has also created and fully equipped a specialized team with the latest tools and technology to analyze a buildings heat loss and to perform measures to correct and minimize those losses as much as practical. The team has the capability of taking a building down to a negative pressure of -50 Pascal’s buy using what’s called a blower door test. This then allows the team to survey the building for air infiltration and leaks through the use of smoke pencils and an advanced digital Infrared camera that can see what can’t be felt. With this information, the team can then perform air sealing and weatherization procedures to eliminate and reduce leaks to an acceptable level, thus saving energy and making the building more comfortable and healthy. Project Closeout Any work completed by Cobb Hill Construction is covered by our written warranty for one full year. |
