Cobb Hill was selected by a repeat client to build this Architect Mike Munson designed kitchen addition. The project opened up a large existing kitchen with the help of an additional 300sf of new space. The style of the addition flows seamlessly into the homes structure making it appear it was always there.
The new space was also designed and built to very high energy standards with spray foam insulation and Energy Star Marvin windows. The design features a large center island with downdraft stove surrounded by the cabinet designs of Sue Booth of Vintage Kitchens. The custom cabinetry was handcrafted by Quality Custom Cabinets.
Additional areas of the home, including the attic, were also brought up to the new insulation standards to improve the comfort and efficiency of the home.
This new kitchen was also one of the featured kitchens on the 2nd Annual Kitchen Tour to benefit the Kimball Jenkins Estate.
