| 2008 Cobb Hill Construction Scholarships, Concord, NH | In the interest of promoting careers in the Construction Industry, Cobb Hill Construction, Inc., of Concord, will offer a scholarship to a Concord High School and Bow High School graduating senior who has demonstrated an interest in drafting, construction, architecture, or engineering and who plans to further his or her education in one of those fields. Scholarships will be awarded to one or two students in the amount of $500 - $1000, based on need and merit. Selection will be based upon a combination of demonstrated interest, positive attitude, teacher recommendations, and financial need. The recipient must be accepted by a post secondary school.
Applications are available at the office of Cobb Hill Construction, the Concord High School and Bow High School guidance offices. The application deadline is May 9th. For questions, talk to your guidance counselor or call our office at 224-8373. | |
| Cobb Hill Awarded 100% Energy Star Builder Status, Concord NH | | Cobb Hill Construction joined ENERGY STAR as a partner, and made a commitment to building 100% of our homes to ENERGY STAR performance guidelines.
Energy Star recently acknowledge that Cobb Hill has met the requirements to be officially recognized as a '100% builder' based on the number of ENERGY STAR qualified homes that CHC has built.
A 100% Commitment icon now displays next to Cobb Hill's name on the New Home Partner Locator. (www.energystar.gov/homes) Cobb Hill will soon receive a plaque from ENERGY STAR in recognition of making this special commitment.
Cobb Hill is proud of our commitment to building 100% of our homes qualified earn the ENERGY STAR.

| Cobb Hill Breaks Ground on New Project for NH Motor Transport, Concord, NH | | Cobb Hill and NH Motor Transport broke ground on a new 10,000 square foot commercial office building on Henniker Street in Concord, NH. NHMTA is going to occupy approximately 7,000 square feet and lease the additional 3,000 square feet.
The building is one story with a partial basement for storage. The gable roof line is enhanced by two covered entries and the dormer at the bump out for the board room. The exterior material is vinyl siding with the addition of cultured stone below the window line at the entries and board room bump outs. The interior will provide private offices, open workstation areas, a document work area, staff kitchen, training room for 50, board room for 26, and lease space for tenant fit-up.
The project is scheduled to be complete in 26 weeks.

| Cobb Hill Honored with Excellence in Construction Award, Concord NH | | COBB HILL CONSTRUCTION HONORED FOR HAVENWOOD- HERITAGE HEIGHTS "MAIN STREET" PROJECT
(CONCORD, NH) - Cobb Hill Construction is proud to announce that they have been honored with the Associated Builders and Contractors Excellence in Construction Award for their Havenwood-Heritage Heights "Main Street" project. The award was presented at the Capitol Center for the Arts on October 25, 2007.
Havenwood-Heritage Heights is New Hampshire's largest continuing care retirement facility. In six months, Cobb Hill Construction renovated a quiet, residential corridor of the facility's Concord location into what is now called "Main Street" by turning vacant rooms into store fronts that include a cafe, boutique and even an ice cream parlor.
Representatives from Associated Builders and Contractors state, "ABC's Awards of Excellence Program has become the premier competition within the construction industry that recognizes outstanding construction projects across the nation."
"We are proud of the work we achieved on the Havenwood-Heritage Heights "Main Street" project, and are pleased to receive such a prestigious award," states Jerry Kingwill, Principal of Cobb Hill Construction, Inc.

| Project Managers, Supervisors & Carpenters attend Residential Code Class, Cobb Hill Office | As part of their commitment to excellence, 18 Cobb Hill Project Managers, Supervisors, Carpenters, designers and staff attended the latest International Residential Building Code Class. The classes ran over a six week period for 3 hours each totaling 18 hours of training. The intense class updated the Cobb Hill team on the latest changes to building code regulations. Each session started at 6:30 AM to minimize the impact to the field

| Cobb Hill Sponsores 2007 Duramed FUTURES Tour Pro-Am, Beaver Meadow Golf Course | Cobb Hill increased their sponsorship this year and became a major event sponsor and the Pro-Am sponsor of the 2007 Duramed FUTURES Tour held on August 2nd 2007 at the Beaver Meadow Golf Course.
This year's event featured a scramble format with tee off times at 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Each foursome was accompanied by one of the tour pros. There were several prizes awarded at the conclusion of each round of play.
Each participant reveived a nice logo'd golf bag, pin flag and other gifts for their participation in this year's event.
Cobb Hill is proud to be a supporter of the Duramed FUTURES Tour.

| Cobb Hill Donates New Storm Shelter, Beaver Meadow Golf Course | The Cobb Hill team recently completed the construction of a 12' x 12' storm shelter next to the 5th hole at the city-owned Beaver Meadow Golf Course.
Milligan Foundations donated the labor for the concrete slab and Cobb Hill donated all of the materials and the crew to build the shelter. The total gift to the city is worth roughly $10,000.
Since the 5th hole is one of the furthest from the club house, it will serve as a shelter when storms come up unexpectedly or just to get a break from the sun.

| Congratulations Area Scholarship Recipients, Concord | Angie Borden and Jerry Kingwill of Cobb Hill, presented four area students with Cobb Hill scholarships. The scholarships were originally announced at each of the student's respective school award ceremonies. On June 27th, all of the recients came to the Cobb Hill office to have their pictures taken and receive their checks. The students pictured below from left to right are: Brendan Bodeur ? | Cobb Hill Participates in Employee Recognition Event | | Recently Cobb Hill Construction participated in the ?2007 ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) Annual Awards and Employee Recognition Event? at CR Sparks in Bedford, NH. The event is held every year to celebrate the outstanding achievements and professionalism of industry co-workers.
Cobb Hill staff members who received recognition were: Tony Ordway for Carpentry 1, and Jim Edwards for Carpentry 2.
Cobb Hill members of the Carpentry Task Group included: Peter Johnson, Claude Dupuis, & Jerry Kingwill. Cobb Hill Training Instructors included: Peter Johnson, Claude Dupuis, Clint Cassavaugh & Jerry Kingwill.
The speaker for this year?s event was Ellis Hobbs of the New England Patriots, who tied for the team's lead in passes twice in 2006. Entering his third season as a Patriot, Ellis exemplifies the individual character and professionalism that contributes to the Patriots? team success. A joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, ENERGY STAR helps us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. | |
| Cobb Hill Volunteers for Friends Program | Cobb Hill Construction has been helping the Friends Program in Concord for eight years. Staff from Cobb Hill volunteers to build the items to be transformed by local artists for the "Friends Finding Friends" auction. Founded in 1975, the Friends Program is a non-profit, social service organization that strengthens communities by building relationships that empower people, encourage community service, and restore faith in the human spirit. | Cobb Hill Construction Wins 2 Awards for Excellence | | Cobb Hill Construction recently received two Cornerstone Awards for Excellence in both commercial and private construction from the ?Homebuilders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire?. They received a Gold for The Canterbury Municipal Complex and a Silver for the Upton & Hatfield Law Firm addition.

| Cobb Hill Carries on Tradition of Giving Back to Their Community | Cobb Hill Construction continued their tradition of giving back to the community by donating their time and talent to the Concord Area Trust for Community Housing (CATCH).
CATCH is a local non-profit organization helping low and moderate-income families and individuals become homeowners. Twenty-four Cobb Hill Construction employees and family members recently volunteered in the renovation of the CATCH house on Downing Street in Concord.?Giving back to our community is a belief that has been a cornerstone in our company?s growth and success for 20 years,? remarked Jerry Kingwill, VP Operations.

| Cobb HIll Recognizes Volunteers for Hospice Project | | Cobb Hill wishes to recognize the hard work of many dedicated volunteers on the Susan McLane Garden pergola project at the Concord Visiting Nurse Association Hospice House in Concord.
?Cobb Hill has been an active part of the Hospice Community from its construction in 1994 to a recent refurbishment,? said Jerry Kingwill, VP Operations of Cobb Hill Construction. ?We?re proud to have been a part of the Hospice family from the very beginning, and happy to have this opportunity to give back to our community.?
The new pergola in the Hospice?s Susan McLane Garden was made possible by donations of time and materials from Tibo Lumber, Merrimack Sheet Metal, Bob Brecknock from SW&C Engineering, and Cobb Hill Construction employees. Cobb Hill extends its thanks to everyone who made a contribution to the project.

| Continuing Education | | Continuing education is offered to all Cobb Hill employees through construction courses, seminars, and conferences. Cobb Hill, sponsors employees in the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) continuing education programs. We also provide instructors. The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) program assists in standardizing craft training for existing employees and new hires, which offers a clearly defined career path for employees. Jerry Kingwill VP, Claude Dupuis, Project Manager, Pete Johnson, Project Manager and our newest instructor Clint Cassavaugh, Supervisor. Will be teaching this course.
Cobb Hill employees: Jon Bradstreet, Jim Edwards, Tony Ordway & Stefan Pouliot are currently enrolled in the program. Recent graduates from Cobb Hill are Geoff Magoon, Mike White & Adrian Pouliot.
Adrian Pouliot and Ted Barton attended the Journal of Light Construction, NE Conference in Providence RI. This program provided education in solving common construction challenges and direction in the use of cutting edge building technologies and materials. Mike Bussiere II attended training in South Portland, ME on the use of the "Sketch-Up" program. This system allows the client to visualize spaces in 3-D, thus reducing design time and enabling quick and more accurate study models. Ed Rimm, Pete Johnson, Tim Drew, Steve Atherton, Mike Bussiere II, & Jerry Kingwill completed a 16 hour course in the International Residential Code covering all aspects of building codes in residential construction. | Building Our Team | Ray Blake has joined Cobb Hill as a Project Supervisor. Mr. Blake has over twenty-two years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining the Cobb Hill team, Ray worked as a foreman for Pelcon Construction. He has taken many applicable classes, such as a NH Code class, ABC Construction, and ABC Planning and Scheduling classes. Ray lives in Hooksett NH.
Mike Kulikowski has joined the Cobb Hill team as a carpenter. Mike brings with him, many years of skilled carpentry experience.
