Construction Interior Designer


Job Summary


We are looking for an experienced artful interior designer to undertake a variety of space designing projects. You will deal with design from conceptual development with clients and the Sales team.

Job Description

  • Review and visit job site for measurement specifications

  • Work together with drafter to achieve and develop project requirements to building code

  • Research materials and products for mockup presentment to clients

  • Design floor plans, elevations, and realistic renderings with the use of industry appropriate software : AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Chief Architect and/or design programs

  • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practices

  • This list in not all inclusive (Other duties as required)


  • Proven work experience in interior space design and planning in construction environment.

  • Normal business hours (Hours may vary due to project needs). May have off hours or weekends as needed- flexibility required

  • Pass a background and motor vehicle check (provided at no cost to the candidate)

  • Pass a drug test (provided at no cost to the candidate

  • Creative talent, imagination and eye for design

  • Self-motivated and must have good communication skills

  • Personal commitment to team environment, client satisfaction and quality

  • Interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors and trade personnel.

  • Punctual with reliable transportation  and a valid driver’s license

  • Possess construction technical proficiency – understanding of design, code and construction technologies.

  • High attention to detail- listening skills

  • Computer  skills- Excel, Word , Google, Bluebeam

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and able to maintain professionalism when faced with aggressive deadlines
