Project Estimator

This opportunity is for an experienced estimator. Qualified candidate must have strong analytical and advanced math skills, advance computer skills including Microsoft office, excel, SAGE/timberline software and “on screen” take off software. The ability to work in a fast paced environment and able to maintain professionalism when faced with aggressive deadlines. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail minded with 5+ years of experience in estimating and knowledge of industry practices.

Responsible to prepare detailed profitable cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for select trades while utilizing on-screen take off software. Must be able to develop subcontract interest in projects and manage the subcontractor RFP process. Must be able to itemize trade specific scopes and prepare bid packages.

Must be able to interact with clients, architects, engineers and Local Jurisdictions to understand and incorporate project objectives, schedules, permits, costs, etc.

  • Work with the design team in providing accurate scope of work, estimates and subcontractor list-value engineering
