Cobb Hill Construction Inc., of Concord, NH has been awarded contracts to provide construction services to renovate two local dental offices. The first, Mehan & Johnson Orthodontics, located on Mammoth Road in Manchester, will be undergoing an update of finishes and equipment to their existing office for a fresh new look. Paul Beaudet of Cobb Hill Construction will serve as Construction Manager and Taylor Chepulis will serve as the Superintendent for the project. Secondly, we will be renovating a 2,700 square foot existing building into a new Pediatric Dental Office in Melvin Village, located on Lake Winnipesaukee. It will be a complete rebuild of a three story commercial space. Tim Drew of Cobb Hill will serve as Construction Manager for the project and Bob Nicolett will serve as Project Superintendent . Construction is scheduled to begin this summer for both projects, and will wrap up mid-fall. We look forward to working with these clients to create a fresh look for the care and comfort of their patients.
The Concord Fire Department recently completed training on a building we will be removing and reconstructing. The 239 Loudon Road location provided a great space for the Fire Fighters to simulate a fire rescue before our team goes in to demo the building. Not only did this demo provide a great opportunity for the CFD to complete some hands on training, but it allowed us to get out into the community, which is something we take pride in here at Cobb Hill Construction.
Cobb Hill Construction is excited to announce that we have begun a new commercial addition project in Concord for the Salvation Army.
Cobb Hill began by preparing the site for the new 2 story addition which will primarily be utilized for additional housing. At the first floor walk out we'll add a total of 32 bed spaces (16 bunks), along with a mens bathroom, women's bathroom, and handicap accessible bathroom, all with showers. Cobb Hill will also finish the basement level adding a mechanical room, storage area, and large conference room.
Cobb Hill Construction is pleased to announce the completion of a four bathroom renovation project at the Rundlett Middle School in Concord, NH. The new design and renovation update included more than 500 square feet of tile and more than 1000 square feet of demolition. Cobb Hill's focus on safety played an important role, as summer school programs were in session throughout the project.
Cobb Hill worked under a tight budget and strict schedule to ensure project completion during the first month of summer vacation. Cobb Hill was able to finish the full demo, renovation, and installation early, in only 2 weeks.
2016 will mark Cobb Hill Constructions 5th year of supporting the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth. For the last five years we've have been honored to participate in this tasty, great cause put on by our friends and clients at The Barley House.

Cobb Hill has recently completed a full renovation of three houses for the Havenwood-Heritage Heights retirement community on Christian Ave in Concord. The overhaul and reworking of these homes was an effort to update the units by converting them from duplexes to larger single unit spaces.
As part of Cobb Hill Construction, Inc.’s commitment to continuing education programs and training for each employee, five staff members recently attended a conference in Atlanta Georgia on Project Leader Boot Camp, an extensive training program presented by FMI Corporation (Fails Management Institute). Peter Johnson, Tim Drew, Ross Mortimer, Steve Kirk and Glenn Woodard attended the conference, designed to provide Leadership and Motivation with emphasis on Project Planning and Financial Management in Construction.

Cobb Hill has recently completed a full renovation of the Bistro for the Havenwood-Heritage Heights retirement community on Christian Ave in Concord. The overhaul and reworking of this space was an effort to update the existing Bistro area and provide a new clean, inviting feel.
We began be removing walls which opened up the new space into the common hallway area. We then removed lighting, carpet, doors, and areas of the ceiling, being sure to keep specific soffit areas to enhance the look of the space by providing breaks and elevation changes in the ceiling. We then re-drywalled the space, built in a new half wall and provided granite countertops at the "internet counter".
Cobb Hill recently held our quarterly all-hands meeting. This year we were visited by a special guest, Officer, to train the team on spotting the signs of substance abuse, including marijuana, heroin, opioids, and other narcotics.
We take the safety of our employees, subcontractors, and clients seriously! Today members of the Cobb Hill team which included Carpenters, Supervisors, and Project Managers took part in CPR training and what to do when finding an unresponsive victim.

Cobb Hill was selected to lead a renovation project for The Barley House - Seacoast, a 2nd location for the restaurant on Lafayette Road in North Hampton, NH.

Cobb Hill was recognized for their outstanding safety record at the annual Associated Builders and Contractors Safety and Scholarship Awards Banquet on June 18th, 2015.

After receiving an Excellence Award for their CATCH Endicott Hotel project at the ABC NH/VT annual awards event at the Capitol Center for the Arts on October 23, 2014, Cobb Hill was also honored with the Chairman's Award for the project.

With only a few weeks before school opened, Cobb Hill was contracted to renovate the main entrance and lobby area of Hyde Hall at Plymouth State University. The very tight schedule included removing old flooring down to the concrete surface, resurfacing that concrete and applying a special epoxy finish.
Cobb Hill had submitted an award application for the Bridges House project in 2013 and was awarded an Excellence in Construction Award from ABC NH/VT. It's taken a while to coordinate everyone's schedule but today we presented an ABC NH/VT Owner Recognition & Appreciation award to Governor Hassan, former First Lady Dr. Susan Lynch and the entire Friends of the Bridges House board.
The Cobb Hill sponsored 16 and under traveling baseball team is having a terrific year. The Cannons entered three tournaments and have finished #1 in all three. The first one was in Conn. The next was at Franklin Pierce College.
This past weekend we were in Long Island, New York. Out of 26 teams they went undefeated.
