Cobb Hill is a big supporter of youth programs like the Rotary Four-Way Speech Contest.
Many of the local Rotary clubs have an annual contest for high school students called the Rotary Four-Way Test speech contest.
The contest involves writing and delivering a speech that is based on applying the Rotary Four-Way Test to a cause or ideal. Cash prizes are typically awarded to the top three finishers.
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Each contest applicant delivers their speech to the Rotary Club's committee, judges and invited guests. Those that place in the top three go on to compete at the Rotary District level for additional prizes. Usually the top three are invited to also deliver their speeches at a regular Rotary club meeting.
