CFD Training on Demo Building

The Concord Fire Department recently completed training on a building we will be removing and reconstructing. The 239 Loudon Road location provided a great space for the Fire Fighters to simulate a fire rescue before our team goes in to demo the building. Not only did this demo provide a great opportunity for the CFD to complete some hands on training, but it allowed us to get out into the community, which is something we take pride in here at Cobb Hill Construction.

Cobb Hill began by preparing the site for the new 2 story addition which will primarily be utilized for additional housing. At the first floor walk out we'll add a total of 32 bed spaces (16 bunks), along with a mens bathroom, women's bathroom, and handicap accessible bathroom, all with showers. Cobb Hill will also finish the basement level adding a mechanical room, storage area, and large conference room.

New Bistro Renovation at Havenwood Heritage Heights

New Bistro Renovation at Havenwood Heritage Heights

CONCORD, NH
Cobb Hill has recently completed a full renovation of the Bistro for the Havenwood-Heritage Heights retirement community on Christian Ave in Concord. The overhaul and reworking of this space was an effort to update the existing Bistro area and provide a new clean, inviting feel.

We began be removing walls which opened up the new space into the common hallway area. We then removed lighting, carpet, doors, and areas of the ceiling, being sure to keep specific soffit areas to enhance the look of the space by providing breaks and elevation changes in the ceiling. We then re-drywalled the space, built in a new half wall and provided granite countertops at the "internet counter".
