Cobb Hill Donates Services for Church Renovation Project

Concord, NH Cobb Hill Construction has begun pro bono renovation work for South Congregational Church. With time and materials donated by several local companies, Cobb Hill will renovate a kitchen, a bathroom, and an office in the house at 6 S. State St., which is adjacent to and owned by the church, at no cost.

Bathroom renovations will be done by Dennis Hager, master plumber, and will include the installation of handicap plumbing fixtures donated by Bow Plumbing and Heating. All three rooms will be painted and vinyl composition tile flooring donated by JDS Flooring will be put down in the enlarged kitchen and bath. The electrical system will be reworked by Irish Electric. Peak Painting has also agreed to donate their services for the project. The kitchen renovations will include combining the existing kitchen and the room next to it, making the space larger. A new office and handicap accessible restroom will be put in next to the remodeled kitchen.

Once the project is complete, the church will move its counseling services from the basement of the church into the newly renovated space next door. "We are pleased to work with South Congregational Church and the other companies donating time and materials on this project. Having this added area next door will give the church the room it needs and create a comfortable space in which to better provide an important service for members of the church and our community," said president of Cobb Hill, Jerry Kingwill.
