Cobb Hill was recognized as first place winner for the 2013 NAHB/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Awards for Excellence (SAFE) in the Light Commercial Contractor Safety Program of the Year category.
Applicants in this award category consist of general contractors engaged in construction of commercial buildings, including but not limited to the following: self-storage facilities, strip malls, office buildings, mixed-use developments, community centers and schools. Cobb Hill Safety Officer, Geoffrey Magoon submitted an application for the award in November and was notified on December 11th that Cobb Hill had been awarded first place in our category.
This awards program recognizes the achievements of builders and trade contractors who have developed and implemented high quality construction safety programs, and to honor government officials and NAHB-affiliated associations that have made successful efforts to advance safety in the home building industry. The NAHB/Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Award For Excellence (SAFE) recognizes member companies, workers and other individuals for the excellent programs that make them leaders in the residential construction industry.
