Cobb Hill Wins Gold at the 2011 Cornerstone Awards

Cobb Hill Construction is pleased to announce they have been awarded a 2011 Cornerstone Award by the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire (HBRANH). Cobb Hill was presented with a Gold Award for their work on a certified Energy Star vacation home, constructed in Campton, NH.

The award-winning 5 bedroom, 5 bath home boasts a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains from nearly every room in the house via a large gable wall, comprised mostly of windows. The 4,200 sq. ft. home contains 3 gas fireplaces and a game room complete with a full wet bar, a full-size pool table, and a wall-mounted flat panel TV.

The main floor of the home has solid red oak flooring with cherry trim while the master suite has custom tile finishes. The kitchen has cherry cabinetry with granite countertops, twin Bosh dishwashers, and other modern appliances, though it still maintains the mountain retreat feel.

The Cornerstone Awards are presented annually to recognize excellence in the building industry. Construction professionals who hold memberships in the HBRANH submit their best work to be judged by a neighboring chapter of the Home Builders Association. “It is an honor to receive a Cornerstone Award. We are thrilled that our dedication to quality craftsmanship has been acknowledged for this project,” states Jerry Kingwill, President of Cobb Hill Construction.
