The 2023 Colors of the Year are Here. Which is Your Favorite?

As we enter 2023, three of the biggest names in the paint industry have announced their "Color of the Year" selections. Sherwin Williams, Behr, and Benjamin Moore have all chosen colors that they believe will shape design trends in the coming year.

Sherwin Williams' Color of the Year for 2023 is "Redend Point." This deep red color is described as a rich, warm hue that brings a sense of energy and excitement to a space. According to Sherwin Williams, Redend Point is a versatile color that pairs well with various other colors, including blues and greens. They suggest using Redend Point in a bedroom, dining room, or living room to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

Behr's Color of the Year for 2023 is "Blank Canvas." This crisp, bright white is intended to be a neutral foundation for any design style. This color pairs well with a variety of other shades, from bold hues to earthy neutrals. Behr suggests using Blank Canvas in any room to create an open and inviting space.

Benjamin Moore has chosen "Raspberry Blush" as its Color of the Year for 2023. This playful, pinkish-red color is intended to bring a sense of joy and whimsy to a space. Benjamin Moore suggests using Raspberry Blush in a child's bedroom or playroom, but it can also be incorporated into adult spaces for a fun and unexpected pop of color.

While these three colors are very different, they all reflect trends we see in interior design and home decor. Redend Point's warm, cozy energy is perfect for creating a welcoming space, while Blank Canvas's neutral simplicity provides an ideal foundation for various design styles. Raspberry Blush's playful and whimsical nature can be incorporated into a range of settings, from kids' rooms to more sophisticated spaces.
